A light and funny, detective type mystery series you might enjoy are The Cupcake Bakery Mysteries by Jenn McKinley.

You may like "The Lost Castle" by Kristy Cambron, if you like multi-generational view points in the stories.

this is too funny, I started typing my comment while your video was still going and I actually started with this: "as for good, enjoyable romance stories I highly recommend books by Kristan Higgins, love them." and then i hear you mentioning one of her books haha
also, for a while now I've been meaning to recommend you a crime/mystery tv show based upon a book of Harlan Coben. it's called 'The Five', it's a mini series (only has about 10 episodes) and it's sooooo good. i'm a serial crime/mystery/thriller tv show and book viewer/reader who usually guesses the who and whats 1/3rd into the story, and even I was surprised with the ending here! definitely check it out if you get the chance.
I can’t wait to hear your review for love and other words by Christina Lauren! That was my first book by them and it’s probably my favorite of the year!! I’ve read a couple more from them and nothing has beat it. My next book from them will be josh and hazel’s guide to not dating!

Great reviews! Do you buy hard copies of your books or do you use a device? Just curious, because I love to read but books are so expensive and I don’t have a library close to me. Just wondering how to get good books without spending a lot of money!

I love Karin Slaughter's books – I've read several. The Kept Woman is probably not one of my favorites of hers, it wasn't bad though. Jar of Hearts was the one I enjoyed the most of all the books I read in September. Love that I can look at your Goodreads and know that you will have books that I will love!! 🙂

I’m waiting on “Then She Was Gone” through Overdrive.. I had it in my Amazon basket, but I feel like I’d rather read it through the library. I’m currently reading “If You Knew Her” and listening to “Reconstructing Amelia” on audio.. goodness gracious!!! Totally jumping off in the deep end!! But I like books that keep me coming back!! Side note: I scored another Caroline Kepnes novel (the sequel to “You”) at Goodwill today for 69 CENTS!!! I can’t wait to get into those 2!!!

You are a true reader, my goodness!!!! I recently read "The Wife Between Us" by Greer Hendricks & Julia Whelan. It's about a woman who is married, then divorced and the other woman that is in the picture as well. I thought it was very good and interesting. Just a suggestion.

I LOVED ‘What Alice Forgot’!! I’m reading ‘The Woman in Cabin 10’ now, and am about halfway through it- it’s really good! I wish I had more time to read! Hopefully this winter!!
